-Developed a distributed system performing functions of a stock exchange.
-Implemented a client and a multithreaded server.
-Designed various algorithms to ensure proper communication between components and fault free functioning.

-Implemented a movie store allowing users to buy movies (shopping cart), search for movies, view recommended movies (same as the feature provided by amazon.com), and view degrees of separation for each actor.

Freeware Applications
-Wrote several freeware programs using Qt (used for GUI and network communication classes), C++, and Windows XP shell capabilities.
English2metric:
a simple unit conversion utility I wrote in my sophomore year.
Despite being the first GUI program created by me, English2metric was chosen by PC World UK editors for their CD and overall had 10,000+ downloads.
XP Shortcuts: a program that installs various interface shortcuts on desktop.

Nature Photography Website
-Organized a team to build a community for nature photographers.
-Used PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Dreamweaver, and Corel Draw to implement various functionalities.
